About us
The Lodge of Unity has been meeting continuously for more than 170 years, yet our membership remains one of the youngest and most energetic in Warwickshire. We’re a friendly, forward-looking lodge that values the traditions passed down by our forefathers while happily embracing the pleasures of modern life. In short, we take our Masonry seriously, but we also know how to enjoy ourselves.
Alongside our regular lodge meetings, we hold a lively Lodge of Instruction, founded in 1929, where members gather in a relaxed and good-humoured setting to learn and practise our distinctive “Unity Workings.” It’s a chance to polish ritual, understand the history and meaning behind Freemasonry, and pick up the finer points of etiquette (including the important business of giving and receiving toasts!). Conversation often drifts to football, cricket, cars, beer and curry – though politics and religion are strictly off the agenda. The Lodge of Instruction meets at 7pm on the third Wednesday of each month from October to March

Founded in 1849, the lodge has been bringing people together for over 170 years. Today it blends proud Masonic traditions with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Meetings combine ceremony, learning and plenty of good humour, followed by the famous “festive board”, where conversation, laughter and a good meal are always on the menu.
In short, we have fun. We enjoy our Masonry and welcome visitors and new members with open arms. Our ceremonies are carried out with dignity, we donate modest sums to local and national charities, and each year we organise a number of enjoyable social events for members, their families and friends.
Above all, Lodge of Unity offers something simple but valuable: friendship, shared values and the chance to be part of a tradition that still thrives today.
