About us
On board the Compass Rose we pride ourselves on having a great time whilst keeping our lodge traditions alive. Our meetings are lively, and entertaining with songs, informative talks and explanations of our ever changing flag hoists. Our ceremonies start by being piped aboard and the Nautical themes continue throughout the evening until we finish the festive board.
We encourage our new members to be involved in the planning of meetings and reward our past masters with special pin badges to commemorate their service.
For us, there’s no place like the Compass Rose, it’s a great lodge to be a part of and we are all very proud to say we are members of the crew.
Why Join Us?
We are a fun lodge with lots of keen masons working through the lodge offices to become ‘Skipper’ Alongside our Nautical themes we support many Nautical charities throughout the year.
We are a special interest Lodge
We are a Nautical Lodge, our Lodge/Vessel is the Compass Rose which is a Flower Class Corvette made famous in the film ‘The Cruel Sea’ we have Nautical traditions with our meetings and festive board along with themed meetings such as Burns Night, Trafalgar Night and Armed Forces Night.
