About us
Composite Lodge No. 5727 has been a respected part of Rugby Freemasonry since its founding in 1938. The name Composite comes from the Composite order of architecture, symbolizing the combination of ‘Wisdom’ and ‘Beauty’ in the Ionic and Corinthian orders respectively. Originally formed with strong links to engineering—reflecting the industrial heritage of the local area—the Lodge has evolved significantly over time. Today, its membership represents an exceptionally diverse range of backgrounds, professions, and life experiences, enriching the Lodge and strengthening its collective character. Composite by name and Composite by nature.

Meetings are held at The Arnold House Masonic Hall in Rugby, a great facility, offering a welcoming and well‑established setting for both ceremonial and social occasions.

Social activities provide opportunities for friends and family to be involved, helping to build enduring friendships beyond the Lodge room.
