About us
Consecrated on September 29, 1927, Temple Lodge No.4929 holds a distinguished place in provincial history as the first new lodge consecrated within the historic Warwickshire Masonic Peace Memorial Temple on Broad Street.
Approaching our centenary, we maintain an active membership spanning the West Midlands, South Staffordshire, and Worcestershire. Our brethren encompass a broad generational mix from younger professionals in their 30s to senior members in their 60s and represent a diverse range of professions, including company directors, engineers, healthcare specialists, emergency service personnel, and skilled trades.
We have lodge meetings six times a year on the first Monday of the month from October through April (recessing in January and over the summer), always concluding our work with a meal, known as the festive board.
We meet right outside the Jewellery Quarter in one of the two Lodge Rooms in the central Birmingham area.

We also host our annual Christmas Meal, after our December meeting, a relaxed occasion specifically focused on bringing along partners, family, and non-member friends.

We hold varied informal events through the year that enable members to maintain their friendships and bonds outside of the lodge room.
These include meals, social events, such as snooker, bowling and darts.

RNIB, British Heart Foundation, Birmingham Rape and Sexual Violence Project, Molly Olly’s Wishes (for families with terminal ill children), Fisher House (for wounded veterans’ families), Teenage Cancer Trust, Acorns Hospice for terminally ill children, Stand up to (Prostate cancer), Warwickshire Blood Bikes, Support for the Gambia School Project, Menkind (mental health for men) and Easter Eggs for underprivileged children.
