Falling for a Great Cause
Warwickshire Light Blues Skydive Raises £11,741 for Fisher House
Earlier in July, members of the Warwickshire Light Blues Club took to the skies—and then bravely jumped out of a plane—to raise money for the Tercentenary Appeal in support of Fisher House.
It was a fantastic day and a wonderful example of what can be achieved when people come together for a worthwhile cause. Our jumpers demonstrated tremendous courage and commitment by taking the leap, helping Fisher House continue providing vital support and a welcoming home away from home for military patients and their families.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of sponsors, supporters and everyone involved, the appeal has raised an amazing £11,741, plus an additional £1,151 in Gift Aid.
Every contribution will make a meaningful difference to those who rely on Fisher House. The appeal will remain open for another month, giving anyone who was waiting to see proof of the jump the opportunity to donate!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who jumped, donated, sponsored or supported the event. Your generosity has made this fantastic achievement possible.
