Lifelites enables children and young people to improve their mental wellbeing, take control of their lives, and be an active part of their world.
Lifelites believes every child with a life-limiting condition should be able to engage and interact with the people they love and enjoy the world they live in.
As an existing supporter of Lifelites, a charity with a long and proud association with Freemasonry, Warwickshire Freemasons have been making a tremendous difference to the lives of children and young people in hospices across Britain and Ireland for 25 years.
Since Lifelites inception as a special millennium project for the Royal Masonic Trust for Boys and Girls, they have provided life-changing assistive and sensory technology, training and technical support to the children’s palliative care sector, enabling over 150,000 children with life-limiting conditions to play, create and communicate with the people they love.
Freemasonry has always had a special bond with Lifelites, and many of members have seen first-hand the impact of the charity’s vital work. Chairman of Trusties Tony Harvey said “As Chair of Lifelites Trustees and a passionate advocate of the charity, I want to thank Warwickshire Freemasons for the support they have already given and ask them to continue to do so. I believe that this would be a very meaningful way for Freemasons to bring our shared values to life, within the heart of our communities.
“We at Lifelites have now begun celebrating our 25th Anniversary year with an exciting series of projects to increase the number of children and families accessing the amazing technology we provide.
“Thank you for your continued support. It is very much appreciated.”
If you would like to hear more about Lifelites and the role Freemasonry has played in its life-changing work, Tony would be delighted to provide a talk at Masonic meetings.
