Supporting Wounded Veterans Charity Golf Day

A fantastic day of sport and fellowship took place at the Supporting Wounded Veterans Charity Golf Day, held at Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Course on Wednesday 11th September.

Among the many teams taking part, Warwickshire Freemasons were proudly represented by Gerry Logue, together with Geoff Walker, Paul Hayward, and David Evans. Their participation highlighted not only their enthusiasm for the game but also their shared commitment to charitable support.

As part of the day’s proceedings, the team presented a cheque for £1,500 on behalf of Warwickshire Freemasons to the charity Supporting Wounded Veterans. This generous contribution will help fund vital programmes providing rehabilitation, mentoring, and support for veterans as they transition back into civilian life.

This event and donation further strengthen Warwickshire Freemasons’ dedication to the Armed Forces Covenant, underlining their pledge to stand alongside those who have served their country and to assist them in overcoming the challenges they face.

The golf day was not only an opportunity to raise much-needed funds but also a chance to celebrate camaraderie and community spirit—values shared by both the charity and Freemasonry.
