Warwickshire Mark Masons celebrated a remarkable milestone on Saturday 24 October, marking the Province’s 150th anniversary with a splendid Sesquicentenary Celebration at the Aloft Hotel in Birmingham.

Hosted by the Mark Provincial Grand Master, Andrew Armbrister, the evening welcomed more than 150 guests, including the guest of honour, MW Bro. Paul Raymond Clement, Pro Grand Master, and RW Bro. Philip L. Hall, Provincial Grand Master of Warwickshire in the Craft.

Guests enjoyed an excellent meal and entertainment as they celebrated a century and a half of Mark Masonry in Warwickshire.

Following the formal toasts, Andrew Armbrister thanked everyone for attending and expressed his appreciation to those whose hard work had made the evening such a success.

The Pro Grand Master congratulated the Provincial Grand Master and the Province on a magnificent celebration, recognising the significance of reaching such an important milestone.

There was also a particularly welcome contribution from the Craft, with Philip Hall expressing his appreciation for the support that Mark Masonry continues to give to Craft Freemasonry in Warwickshire.

To mark the occasion, he presented a cheque for £40,000 to Andrew Armbrister for the Warwickshire Mark Masons Benevolent Fund — a generous contribution that made an already memorable evening even more special.

It was a fitting celebration of 150 years of Mark Masonry in Warwickshire, highlighting the strong bonds between the Craft and the Mark and their shared commitment to charitable giving.
