Warwickshire Freemasons support ambulances for Ukraine with 'Easter smiles'

Ambulance No.4 Departs with Life-Saving Aid and Easter Donations

Today marks the departure of Ambulance No.4, fully prepared for its journey to Poland and beyond, carrying both vital medical support and heartfelt donations from the Warwickshire Freemasons community.

Alongside essential equipment, the ambulance is transporting over 150 Easter eggs, generously donated through the Warwickshire “Easter Smiles 26” appeal. This initiative reflects the continued commitment of local Freemasons to bring comfort and compassion to those affected by conflict.

The journey is being undertaken by Pal Sanghera and John Starley, who will drive the ambulance to its destination where it will be placed into immediate service. Once deployed, the vehicle will play a crucial role in recovering injured military personnel and civilians, ensuring they are safely transported to hospital for urgent care.

Meanwhile, the Easter eggs will be delivered to a small orphanage run by two nuns, providing a moment of joy for children who have lost parents and loved ones during this devastating war.

This mission highlights both the practical and humanitarian impact of the appeal – delivering not only critical aid, but also hope and kindness to those who need it most.

A sincere thank you goes to all the Lodges and Brethren who have supported these remarkable efforts. Your generosity continues to make a meaningful difference.
