As the people of Ukraine continue their struggle so the Freemasons of Warwickshire maintain their support with the donation of another £2,000 towards a fifth ambulance that the Belveder CIC Charity, based in Royal Leamington Spa, purchase and send to Ukraine. The head of Warwickshire Freemasonry Phil Hall said how vital it is to support these ambulances. He went on to say how these vehicles are set to work under the most extreme conditions often working in off road terrain picking up wounded soldiers and civilians in the dead of night to minimize the possibility of detection. He expressed his gratitude to the members of Warwickshire Freemasonry for continued support now totalling £10,000.

Dawid Koslowski of Belveder CIC Charity thanked Phil Hall and all at the Warwickshire Freemasons for their continued support which enables them to source these vital lifesaving vehicles.

With based charity raising funds to purchase ambulances in support of the people of Ukraine. Most of the ambulances are ex NHS and are purchased by the charity at auction for around £6000 – £7000. Thanks to another charity the ambulances are then loaded with medical supplies and are then driven for three days by volunteers to Poland where they are handed over to the Ukrainian authorities. The day-to-day work of the vehicles then takes on a completely different roll to that in their former life. They are used to pick up wounded soldier and civilians often injured in very remote locations where there are no paved streets so the ambulance takes a massive pounding while crossing this challenging terrain. They are also working in very dangerous conditions are often subjected to military attack and sustain extreme damage.
