Nuneaton and Bedworth Mayor and Mayoress receive cheques for £500 from Abbey Lodge 432 and Bedeword Lodge 7274.

Nuneaton Lodge rooms opened their doors to members of the public on Saturday 7th September 2024 as part of Heritage Open Days.

A good number of visitors attended the hall and all showed an interest in what Freemasons do for charitable purposes. Most of the visitors had little idea of Freemasonry.

In attendance were the Mayor and Mayoress of Nuneaton and Bedworth, Mr and Mrs B Hancox who received cheques from Abbey Lodge 432 for £200, and the Worshipful Master of Bedeword Lodge 7274, David Smart, presented a further cheque for £200. Both cheques were for the Mayor’s appeal, to support the breast cancer care unit at the George Eliot Hospital, Nuneaton.
