2026 Annual Church Service

The Provincial Church Service will be held in The Collegiate Church of St Mary, Warwick on Sunday 28th June 2026, at 2.45pm.

This is one of the major events in the Provincial calendar and the Provincial Grand Master believes that every Worshipful Master and Most Excellent Zerubbabel along with their Wardens, Principals, Lodge and Chapter members and their families should have the pleasure of attending this enjoyable occasion.

W Bro Reverend Timothy M Boyns, Provincial Grand Chaplain, will lead the service and deliver the sermon, this year’s theme being “Integrity”. Representatives of the Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim and Sikh faiths will be taking part. The Provincial Choir will be under the direction of W Bro Chris Grove MBE, PJGD, while the Provincial Organist, W.Bro Peter Summers PGStB will be playing the organ.

There will be a two course Lunch served at both Alderson House and The Warwick Arms Hotel prior to the Service; and will be available at 11.45am for 12.15pm at a cost of £31.00 per person. You can select your preferred venue on the booking form but unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee which venue you will actually be assigned. Places are limited and will be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis, so please book early.

The Provincial Grand Master has directed that all reigning Worshipful Masters of Lodges, and reigning Chapter First Principals across the Province are invited and encouraged to join in the procession of Acting Provincial Officers from Alderson House through Warwick to St Mary’s Church after the Luncheon. The Brethren who are not in the procession from Alderson House will clothe after taking their seats in the church. The doors will open at 1.45pm. Brethren with unreserved seats and their guests are requested to be seated not later than 2.15pm ready for pre-service music.
