1965 was clearly a very special year for the Provincial Grand Stewards’ Lodge of Warwickshire. VWBro Victor Keene, one of our Founders and Past Masters, was initiated into Trinity Lodge in Coventry on 4th February 1965. At their recent meeting, he received his 60-year certificate in typically wonderful Warwickshire style. As you can from the photo, the Stewards’ Lodge was well represented.
At the end of this month, another Founder and Past Master, VWBro David Rawlins will be receiving his 60-year certificate at an emergency meeting of the Stewards’ Lodge at Yenton. We will be holding another emergency meeting in October, at which WBro Stuart Wilton will receive his 60-year certificate and then, at our regular November meeting, WBro Stan Butterworth will receive his 60-year certificate. To cap this, RWBro Richard Wallis, one of our past members, will receive his 60-year certificate in September.
Hence the suggestion that Freemasonry is good for you. Or is it simply being a ProvGStwd??
