The countdown has begun for Lodge Secretaries and Chapter Scribes E to experience a simpler and more efficient way of working, with the launch of a new digital system called Hermes on 18th November 2024. This system will streamline record-keeping, making it much easier and less time-consuming by replacing the need for printed and electronic forms to be sent to the Warwickshire Provincial Office.
Hermes has been in design and development for over four years, and feedback from Secretaries and Scribes E who have tested it has been overwhelmingly positive. The system is user-friendly, well-designed, and will significantly reduce paperwork, making their roles much easier.
Before the November launch, Craft Secretaries and Royal Arch Scribes E will receive comprehensive training to ensure they are confident in using the new system. This training will be provided across the Province, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing support when needed.
Training sessions will be held in October, giving Secretaries and Scribes E ample opportunity to practice and master the new system before it goes live. Each session is expected to take around two hours.
Lodge Secretaries and Scribes E will not receive a login to the new system until they have completed a training session.
