Oh no they didn’t!...

...Oh yes they did! Coventry Freemasons bring Christmas cheer in this year’s pantomime.

Coventry Freemasons once again spread festive joy this December by organising a pantomime for over 500 children with special educational needs and disabilities along with their carers.

The Pantomime, held at the Standard Triumph Social Club, was packed with all the fun and silliness of the season, complete with cheeky elves and an appearance by Father Christmas himself. Children and carers were entertained as they arrived with magic tricks designed to boggle the mind. At half time each child was given a balloon animal or sword, causing chaos in the auditorium.

“The children really enjoyed it and the staff too, its a great afternoon for all of them and a lovely treat towards the end of term.  Everyone loved the gifts and chocolates 😋😋😋” – Our Lady of Assumption

At the end of the performance, every child received a festive goodie bag prepared by brethren the night before. The bags were brimming with toys, sweets, and a cuddly teddy bear to take home, ensuring that each child left with a smile.

“The children had a fabulous time and have such lovely memories to cherish. As always, we felt thoroughly spoilt and very grateful for the opportunity to join you again this year”. – Ravensdale Primary School

Held over two showings, we hoped to give children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the magic of panto at Christmas time. From the shouts of ‘Its behind you’ during the show to the excited screams when Santa appeared, the pantomime created unforgettable memories for all who attended.

The charity pantomime reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting our local community and ensuring that Christmas time is a little brighter for those who need it.

“Thank you so much for the Panto yesterday morning, some of the staff felt emotional afterwards with seeing what was put on for the children, and just watching them able to be themselves and enjoy the morning. The children haven’t stopped talking about it”. – Frederick Bird Academy

Thank you to all those brethren to took part in raising funds, packing bags, and volunteering on the day. You all have contributed to what is a shining star on the calendar of the masonic year.
