“It was a small gathering at Victoria House in Leamington, for the Stoneleigh Chapter No725 Installation Meeting. A couple of last-minute apologies meant that E Comp Neil Murray stood in as MEZ/IZ and E Comp Roy Dixon had the opportunity to act as a Chapter DC for the first time.

The Provincial Grand Principals opened the Chapter in fine style with E Comp Ross Lewis combining 3rd PGP with Chapter SE. The Presiding Officer, E Comp Geoff Walker, completed the reading and anointing for the Installation of E Comp Paul Fernandez-Montes as MEZ.  After a gap of about 12 months, E Comp Gary Evans acted as 2nd PGP for the Installation of E Comp Joe Hallett as H. E Comp Roy Thompson-Brown was inducted into the J Chair.

The Festive Board was very convivial and with a combination of “guess the amount in the bottle, a raffle, an alms collection, and a contribution from the Almoner’s Fund, the Chapter generously donated £500 towards the Tercentenary Fund and Fisher House.”
