THE KEYSTONE CONNECTION – ROYAL ARCH AND MARK ORDERS

Share this news:

At the March 2022 meeting of the Warwickshire Installed Masters Lodge, there was a discussion on the Holy Royal Arch and Mark Masonry, comparing the two Orders and their mutual aspects.

The discussion was between the Warwickshire heads of the two Orders – E Comp Philip Hall and R W Bro Philip Wills.

The presentation has now been repeated twice – at the De Montfort Lodge and at the Lodge of Faith and Hope.   The discussion has been given by senior members of the two Orders but is also available as a script to be delivered by members of the two Orders in their own Lodge.

The discussion is entitled “The Keystone Connection” and is based on a presentation given by W Bro Tony Harvey, a former Prestonian Lecturer, which he called “The relevance of the Mark and the Royal Arch to the Craft”.

There is no persuasion element to the talk, it is simply to show the connections between different aspects of Freemasonry and some of the basic elements of the two Orders.  Having said that, there have been several new members recruited as a result of the presentation in both Lodges mentioned above.

All are welcome to attend, whichever Order you belong to, even if you are already a member of all three. Both Lodges have seen an increase in the number of visitors who are interested in seeing the presentation.
