FISHER HOUSE
Thursday 1st of May 2025

On Monday May 5th 2025, brethren from across the Warwickshire completed their 150 mile walk from United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE) in London to Fisher House in Birmingham.

Setting off in two teams, Kevin and Cass Taylor, father and son, along with other Warwickshire Brethren completed the grueling walk taking two different routes, stopping off at various Masonic centres and places of military interest along the way. They also completed a series of fun challenges before concluding their epic May bank holiday walk at Fisher House on the evening of Monday May 5th.

Fisher House UK is a an 18-bedroom haven that provides a “home away from home” for injured service members and their families, allowing them to stay close to loved ones while receiving treatment at the Centre for Defense Medicine at the Queen Elizabeth hospital in Birmingham. Many of these individuals have served in combat, and their injuries often require ongoing care.
