The Chapter of Rectitude’s October meeting witnessed a triple exaltation ceremony, whilst this is not unique in Royal Arch masonry it definitely was a first for Rectitude.
E Comp Terry Preece who earlier that evening became a joining the Chapter was immediately invited to take the Third Principal’s chair of his new Chapter. E Comp Terry had been instrumental in bringing the Exaltees into the Chapter, so it was only right that he should take them through the first part of the ceremony.
The three Exaltees were obligated individually, such that they each singularly experienced that mystical first part of the ritual. When the trio of Exaltees returned to the chapter they proceeded through the remaining parts of the ceremony in unison.

Back row E Comps Rob Mason (H), John Illingworth (Z) Terry Preece (J) Richard Clews (DC)
E Comp Chris Addison also joined The Chapter of Rectitude that evening and he took the office of Principal Sojourner, from where he gave a barn storming delivery of the Sojourner’s discovery.
The Chapter of Rectitude certainly likes to get its money’s worth out of its joining members!
The Chapters ADC, E comp Craig Walton, delivered a faultless abbreviated version of the Mystical lecture and explanation of sharing the Word. The evening was ended by the Assistant to Provincial Grand Principals, E Comp Michael Morris who gave an illuminating presentation of the Grand Chapter Certificate to Comp Andrew Williams.
