Calling All Master Masons: Discover Rose Croix

Royal Arch Chapter of St Andrew 4056 is inviting ALL Master Masons and above to join them at 6pm on Thursday 7th November 2024 at Knowle Masonic Centre to discover Rose Croix.

Excellent Companion Stephen, in his capacity as the Very Illustrious Inspector General 33° in the District of Warwickshire of the Ancient & Accepted Rite, will give a short talk on what is more usually referred to as the Rose Croix, its regalia and its various chapters in the district.

It is intended that Royal Arch Chapter of St Andrew 4056 will open and close then invite masons who are not Royal Arch companions into the chapter room to hear Stephen Fowler give an informal presentation around the Rose Croix degrees.

Master Masons are also invited to stay for the festive board giving them an opportunity to witness a Royal Arch Chapter set up and the officers in their regalia.

The purpose is to advance the knowledge of the brethren attending and to encourage any master masons to consider joining the Royal Arch and Rose Croix companion orders.

This may be a good opportunity for unattached Royal Arch Masons to reconnect with a wonderful chapter with a Scottish flavour.

Important recent changes to the membership criteria for the Ancient & Accepted Rite have resulted in master masons who do not hold the Christian, Trinitarian Faith being eligible to join.

Dress code will be lounge or morning suit or highland dress if preferred. Royal Arch Regalia to be worn if attending the ceremony. Craft regalia if not a companion of the Royal Arch. If applicable, please bring Rose Croix regalia which may be worn during the presentation.

Those attending and staying for the festive board will be expected to pay for their own meals and drinks. Unfortunately, we cannot provide the menu or costs at this time until we have the numbers.

Please send any expressions of interest to E. Companion Andy Crooke, PProvGSN, Assistant Scribe Ezra by email to ajcrooke@hotmail.com – You will receive a formal invite to which you must reply to in order to be booked in for a meal.
