About us

Our lodge is one of the oldest in Warwickshire, having first received its warrant of constitution in 1755. It has met continuously from then to the present day and in a few years’ time, we will celebrate our 275th anniversary!
It is always a pleasure to welcome visiting Freemasons who have an interest in our ancient ‘workings’, want to see our unique master’s chair and particularly observe the extended workings used at the December installation meeting.

Our lodge members have acted as trustees to, and shared expertise with, several of the historic charities of the City for many decades. The Trinity Lodge Benevolent Fund (an independent charity) has funds built up over many years of donations and legacies, and its income permits us to donate several thousands of pounds a year to local charities.

We enjoy our freemasonry. We like being a bit different -and whatever we do – from delivering ritual, to developing our newer members, we aim to be proud of it.

Why Join Us?

“Protecting our past – Embracing the future” – sums up our lodge.

Our historic lodge has a strong and vibrant membership of diverse professions and backgrounds. We have have a fascinating history and some unique historical artifacts. When compared to other lodges, we have a slightly (very?) different way of doing things because of our unbroken traditions and long history.

Whilst Trinity is very proud of its history and traditions, we are not stuck in the past – we are a progressive Lodge and more than happy to embrace the more open and outward facing style of modern Freemasonry – but the unchanging aspect, is that Charity and service to the community continue to underpin the ethos of our lodge.
