About us
As mentioned above our Lodge was founded in 1965 and thus this year celebrated it’s 60th. birthday and yes, there was cake! Our first and consecration meeting was held in the Great Hall of Warwick castle and our Lodge banner is the only one of those meeting at Alderson House that is allowed to use the town crest, a great privilege. The gavels and working tools that we employ in Lodge are unique but you will have to join to find out why! Our Lodge grew out of it’s mother Lodge, Greville Lodge and the oldest Lodge meeting at Warwick, Shakespeare Lodge is our grandmother.
Why Join Us?
We are a friendly and cosmopolitan Lodge, always ready to welcome guests and new members from all over the world. We are going through something of a transition at the moment gradually shifting our average age downwards, which is good. We aim for a high standard of work in our Lodge but recognise that family and work commitments must have priority. We regularly hold social functions to enable us to include partners and children but more of that later. Our traditional Scottish night in January has an enviable reputation for the fun and the food that we enjoy and at that meeting we also invite “gentlemen” to join us for dinner.
