About us
The Chapter has a rich history as well as an encouraging future as it approaches its 150 years anniversary in 2027. Founded by members of Fletcher Lodge 1031 in 1867 with a then annual subscription of 10 shillings and 6 pence (52.5p) it’s initial members were drawn from Fletcher Lodge. These days members are drawn from a number of differing lodges and the Chapter benefits from the diversity that this base of differing lodge membership provides.
The Chapter has a strong history of well delivered ritual and ceremonies. This arises from the strong encouraging support of its senior members conjoined with the enthusiasm of its newer members. As a result meetings are both engaging, immensely satisfying and enjoyed by all.
Why Join Us?
Fletcher Chapter is one of the older Chapters in the Province and is a growing Chapter with regular exaltations demonstrating excellent ritual. Our senior preceptor is also the senior preceptor of the General Chapter of Instruction and many of the Chapter members are active in both and benefit from their involvement with both. Additionally, the age profile of the Chapter is well balanced with younger companions benefitting from the support of the more experienced members.
