About us
The lodge was founded in 2009 and is named after one of Warwickshire’s previous and well respected Provincial Grand Masters, Right Worshipful Brother Michael John Price.
Bro. Michael guided the province between 2001 and 2010 and the Michael Price Lodge forms part of his legacy.
Bro. Michael is still and active and enthusiastic member of the lodge, he is currently the Worshipful Master of the lodge and is an inspiration to all our members.
The lodge has recently been undertaking ceremonies for other lodges and are happy to help other lodges who may require support.
Why Join Us?
We only meet three times per year so the time commitment is not an onerous one.
We are a daytime lodge which meets during the summer so we avoid travelling in the dark nights and bad weather.
We are a very friendly bunch who will give new members a very warm welcome.
We are a special interest Lodge
The Michael Price Lodge 9853 is a special interest lodge which has as it’s theme Jaguar motorcars. Members are typically Jaguar car owners, enthusiasts and current and past Jaguar employees.
At each meeting a topic of motoring heritage or interest will form part of the items of business.
The lodge also has a much broader interest in both engineering and technology and recently had a very interesting seminar on AI, it’s applications, benefits and disadvantages. The lodge would therefore be of interest to all engineers.
Many of the members are also keen anglers and offer children with Special Educational Needs the opportunity to experience the joy of fishing.

Outside of the 3 traditional meetings we make regular visits to venues of motoring interest and hold a very popular Sunday lunch for our members, partners, family and friends, on the first Sunday in December each year.
Charities we have supported
The Michael Price Lodge 9853 has strong ties to the local hospices which operate within Warwickshire, especially “Acorns” our local children’s hospice.
The lodge is a regular supporter of Knowle Foodbank.
The Worshipful Master (who leads the lodge) can also nominate particular charities during his year in office.
At the present time the lodge is making regular donations to “Fisher House” which is a charity which provides accommodation and support to the families of service personnel being treated at The Royal Centre for Defence Medicine, at the QE hospital Birmingham
