About us
THE CHAPTER STARTED ON 1ST MARCH 1894 WHEN SHAKESPEARE CHAPTER NO 356 TRANSFERRED THEIR WARRANT AND TEMPERANCE CHAPTER NO 739 WAS FORMED.
THE CHAPTER HAS A GOOD FESTIVE BOARD AND HAD ITS CENTENARY ON 1ST MARCH 1994.
MARTIN LEVERMORE MBE IS A MEMBER OF OUR LODGE AND IS AN ACTING DEPUTY LIEUTENANT FOR THE WEST MIDLANDS . HE HAS RECENTLY TAKEN UP THE POST OF BEING CHAIRMAN OF THE BLACK COUNTRY LIVING MUSEUM. HE HAS ALWAYS WORKED HARD FOR CHARITIES AND RAISED ALOT OF FUNDS OVER THE YEARS.

WE ARE CONNECTED TO LODGE OF INDUSTRY 5123 LODGE AND HAVE ALOT OF THEIR MEMBERS IN THE CHAPTER . WE RECENTLY CHANGED OUR BY-LAWS TO BE ABLE TO HAVE DRINKS AND WINE AT OUR FESTIVE BOARD.
WE HAVE MEMBERS WITH LOTS OF BACKGROUNDS , INCLUDING MEDICAL BACKGROUND , PROFESSIONAL SERVICES , INDUSTRY , RESTORATION OF CARS AND JEWELLERY.

BECAUSE WE ARE CONNECTED WITH LODGE OF INDUSTRY 5123 , WE NORMALLY HAVE A JOINT INFORMAL LADIES TO DINE MEETING IN DECEMBER WHERE WE HAVE A RAFFLE TO RAISE MONEY FOR CHARITY . THIS ALSO DOUBLES UP HAS OUR CHRISTMAS PARTY.
WE USUALLY ATTEND THE BURNS NIGHT THAT LODGE OF INDUSTRY ARRANGE FOR THERE LODGE MEETING IN FEBRUARY AND TAKE PART IN RASING FUNDS FOR CHARITY AT THE EVENT.
