E Companion David Shakeshaft having received promotion to an Acting Grand Rank, he was clothed in the regalia of his office provided by the SGC making it difficult to obtain a photograph of him resplendent with his new, badge of high office. But not to miss out, here is a photograph of him retrieved from the Provincial archive when he was the Prov Grand Director of Ceremonies, a post which he held for many years with distinction, and which this promotion celebrates.
